It was founded in 1969. www.dijg.de HOMOSEXUALS ANONYMOUS began in Reading PA in 1980 by two ex-gays, by Colin Cook and Doug McIntire. They were both in the life-style, but found freedom through the development of 14 steps, a part of their program that exists today and is used across the US and into other parts of the world, such as Germany. They believe in a solid Scriptural base for their belief system- Judeo-Christian. They are not a part of Exodus, but are an independent organization. They have their own Board of Directors who governs the work. They train individuals to begin and lead support groups using a pattern similar to AA. THE INTERNATIONAL HEALING FOUNDATION (IHF) is a therapeutic organization established to educate and counsel men, women and adolescents about the causes and healing of homosexuality. IHF sponsors Healing Seminars, Teleconferencing Classes, Speaking Engagements and Resource Materials. The foundation has trained thousands of therapists, clergy and individuals over the past fourteen years.
