It was founded in 1969. www.dijg.de HOMOSEXUALS ANONYMOUS began in Reading PA in 1980 by two ex-gays, by Colin Cook and Doug McIntire. They were both in the life-style, but found freedom through the development of 14 steps, a part of their program that exists today and is used across the US and into other parts of the world, such as Germany. They believe in a solid Scriptural base for their belief system- Judeo-Christian. They are not a part of Exodus, but are an independent organization. They have their own Board of Directors who governs the work. They train individuals to begin and lead support groups using a pattern similar to AA. THE INTERNATIONAL HEALING FOUNDATION (IHF) is a therapeutic organization established to educate and counsel men, women and adolescents about the causes and healing of homosexuality. IHF sponsors Healing Seminars, Teleconferencing Classes, Speaking Engagements and Resource Materials.
